AWESOME Thai Cuisine in Cincinnati

Just had lunch from Bangkok Thai Cuisine again in Milford, OH — oh my gosh! delicious!! I had the cashew chicken with brown rice. The vegetables are fresh and the sauce is perfectly balanced.

Food: Excellent. We’ve all ordered different items from cashew chicken with rice or noodles; pad thai with chicken or tofu; vegetable fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. We ALL kept raving on how delicious it was and even stated that this is the best Thai food we’ve had. (And we’ve eaten Thai in Cincinnati, NYC and Miami).

Atmosphere: really can’t comment on the atmosphere as we have picked up the food to eat at the office.

Prices: prices are reasonable. Seems like dinner prices are about $9/plate and lunch prices are about $6/each.

Reviewing their menu, seems they have sushi too — something I have yet to try at this location (but will plan on it).

Service: service on the phone seems good. Will need to update this review once I actually eat in.

Cafe Bella in Mason – consistently delicious

If you want to go to a restaurant in Mason, Ohio that has delicious, fresh food, with a welcoming and friendly staff — then you owe it to yourself to go to Cafe Bella’s.

Food: The food is consistently delicious. Personally, I love the Spinach Salad, Tortellini and the Salmon. Bella’s homemade ice creams are incredible — save room, you will thank me for it.

The portions are perfect for a healthy meal.

Atmosphere: warm and comfortable, the bar is beautiful.

Prices: prices are reasonable for the quality of food you receive, this isn’t your typical franchise with processed food.

Service: I have always received warm and friendly service.

Relish’s Modern Tapas Wins Me Over

Finally, a restaurant in the Mason, Ohio that is unique, moderately priced with great food.

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch the other day at Relish. Between my friend and me we ate 4 small plates and shared dessert.

The restaurant was clean and comfortable, the waiter and hostess friendly and welcoming.

We had the Asian Spicy Shrimp, the balls of Italian sausage along with the zucchini tips and the ditalini pasta. The simple flavors of the zucchini and ditalini complimented the robust taste of the shrimp and sausage.

We topped of our lunch with the homemade relish lace cookies with strawberries and whipped cream. Which reminded me of my own lace cookies recipe, but relish’s has oatmeal in the cookies, it so very good!!!

The prices were average for an upscale restaurant, well worth it for the quality of the food.

I look forward to returning for dinner soon – hope to see you there.

Relish is located behind the Whole Foods Market at Deerfield Town Center in Mason, Ohio.

Sichuan Gourmet is good Chinese Food

The boys in my family went to this Chinese restaurant the other day in which they raved about! So much so, that I had to go check it out myself.

Now, I enjoy Chinese food about once a month, I’m not a huge fan — but my curiosity got the best of me. So I ended up going on Friday night with my family.

The food was very good, the location was clean and the waitress was very friendly. We felt welcomed and we were seated immediately.

For starters we had Sichuan Beans. The Sichuan sauce was very good – I’ll rate that a “5″. The beans I didn’t care for, they looked like worms. I’m sure if you like that – you’d be very happy, but they weren’t for us.

We shared the Happy Family – which we devoured, and we also shared the Combination Vermicelli.

All very good – overall I’m going to rate this experience a 4 (out of a 5 star rating). We spent about $30 for 2 adults and one child. Sichuan Gourmet is located on Mason-Montgomery Rd, in Mason Ohio.
