Military Wife creates heirloom aprons from old BDU (Camouflage) uniforms

Starting with her husbands’ own retired BDU’s and her first sewing machine in her dining room, her vision became a reality. Heirloom aprons are created by using your old BDU blouse, personalized name tapes and unit patches. The backside of the apron is fully lined with branch specific fabrics, and she’s able to completely reconstruct the BDU into a one-of-a-kind Heirloom Apron, something meaningful to the recipient.
Heirloom Aprons have brought comfort to spouses and parents while their loved ones are deployed. At the same time they make great retirement and farewell gifts.
